My name is Kim Dorval owner and founder of The Right Weigh for You program. In 2002, after a successful career in banking, I returned to school to obtain a degree in nutritional science and become a registered dietitian. Because of my own personal journey with weight, I am passionate about helping people achieve their health goals.
In 2012, I realized that it wasn’t just about calories versus in calories out and teaching people how to make healthy food choices – it was about much more than that. I enlisted the help of Victoria Kirby, ARNP, Jill Plummer, LMHC and Jaclyn Fodor a chef dietitian and together we started offering The Right Weigh for You program to our clients in Bedford, NH. Within 2 months, the program became so popular that we were teaching classes 4 nights a week to a packed house.
Due to the demand and the realization that we couldn’t help as many people as we wanted, we further expanded our team. Five successful years later, thousands of lives changed and tens of thousands of pounds lost, we are excited to now be offering this program online, nationwide.

The Right Weigh program rocks. By the end of the 12 week program I lost 72 pounds, was off of all blood pressure medication, and saw improvement in my blood work numbers. I found exercise that I think I will enjoy for the long term. 14 months later using the tools learned, I lost another 25% of my initial body weight - 170 pounds total. Mentally and physically I feel better than I have in 20 plus years. And my journey continues, after all it will never end.
